1956 Fender Esquire

This is a one-owner, survivor guitar--it’s as original as the day it was first taken out of the box.  It has that perfect soft V-shaped neck that tapers into a chunky club by the 10th fret, giving the ’56 its iconic status.  The neck was constructed from a flat-sawn piece of Rock Maple.  Its pencil date is 10/56.

This nicely figured, one-piece body guitar weighs in at 7.55 lbs.   All electronics and solder joints are 100% original.  It’s a “snappy” guitar with great tonal variation from its 3-position switch.

Included with the guitar are the original ash tray and the original side-pocket tweed case.  All hardware, hinges, and latches are in tact and fully functional on the case.
