These guitars are appointed and finished to customers specifications with Fender licensed necks and bodies.

What you see below is the “standard package” . The Standard Package includes: neck (finished), tuners, bone nut, body (finished), neck plate bridge, control plate and prewired assembly (minus pick ups). I leave out pick ups in the standard package, because pick ups are a personal choice best left to the individual.  If a customers wishes me to install a certain set of pickups for them, I will gladly do so at cost.

About the Necks and Bodies:

I purchase over sized Fender licensed necks (Rosewood or Maple) and shape them down to the customers specification. The bodies (Swamp Ash) are also Fender licensed parts which are ordered as blanks so that the customer’s preferred pick up combination can be accommodated. The bodies are then contoured to Fender “1962” specifications. A variety of finishes is available (thin nitro with proper under coats of course). The finish below is a “greened out” “Ice Blue Metallic” finish. Note:  the finish under parts such as the pick guard, bridge, control plate and neck plate was not “greened out”. This finishing process replicates the look of a vintage guitar that has faded and discolored over the years. Various degrees of checking and distressing are also available.

Customers will receive their custom spec’d guitar completely setup with string gauge and action height of their choice. The guitar will be wired and only require the customer to drop in the pick ups of their choice. The cost of the “standard package” guitar is $1399 including shipping in the lower 48 States.
